In 2007 we added the Echo line of blowers, trimmers, and chainsaws. Echo has an answer to the new federal emission laws that other manufacturers are still searching for. The 2 cycle industry is under intense pressure to "clean up" their products and the rush to comply is causing some companies performance issues. Not Echo.
One of our favorite trimmers is the Echo model 265T. A straight shaft brushcutter with tremendous tourqe (hence the T designation)and very low vibration. Compare this machine with anything on the market in the $300 range.
Out of place ? Not really. We know some Echo products are sold at the big box stores with their supposed pricing advantage. Go look for yourself. Compare what you will pay for a product unassembled in a box to one ready to cut. Where will you get warranty work done if needed? How do you mount different attachments? Which is the best oil/gas ratio? We work hard for our money!
